SOUTH BEND- St. Joe erupted for 15 goals in a victory over Crown Point at a soaked Leighton Stadium. The Indian offense exploded from the game’s opening whistle, scoring four goals in the game’s first four minutes on their way to a 15-4 win over the Trojans. The win improves the Tribe to 1-2 on the young season.
Senior Luke Thomas led all scorers with six goals and was followed by sophomore Joe Saratore, who put in four. Jack Tobolski had two goals while teammates Zach Yergler, Antonio Morrell, Flynn Leonard each put in one. Goalie Ben Bailey led a solid defensive effort, holding the visitors to just four goals.
