ANGOLA- The varsity squad was led to a hard fought 7-5 win over Homestead at Trine University’s Fred Zollner’s Athletic Stadium. The Indians were led by seniors Ryan Bruneel and Coley Putz, along with contributions from freshmen Joe Saratore and Antonio Morrell. Goalkeeper Ben Bailey and the Indians defense came up with seven stops. The Indians, now 2-0 on the young season, collected 24 ground balls and took 29 shots. It is unclear when the team will return to action as the IHSLA has suspended play until April 13th.
